What to Expect at Your Appointment

Your Reflexology Appointment

At every appointment with me you will be welcomed with a glass of water or choice of herbal tea so the pampering can start as soon as you arrive!

At your first appointment I will compete a full consultation form with you.  We will discuss your medical history and what you would like to gain from your treatments.  There are some cases where reflexology cannot take place due to certain medical conditions and I can discuss this with. If you are unsure if you can have treatment, please call me and I would be happy to discuss this with you prior to booking.

After the consultation, you will be asked to remove your shoes and socks and lie yourself on the therapy couch.  I will place a bolster under your knees to aid with your comfort and you will have the option to have a blanket placed over you.

I will then proceed to start your treatment , using my thumbs, fingers and knuckles to apply pressure to your feet or face

What Should I Wear to my Treatment?

Please come to your treatment in whatever you feel most comfortable in.  You will only be asked to remove your shoes and socks. Please don't worry about washing your feet prior to your appointment as I use gentle wipes to clean my client's feet before every session.

Does Reflexology Hurt?

Although reflexology has a firmer touch than a foot massage, it should not be painful. There may be certain areas on your feet that are more sensitive due to congestion and my pressure can be adapted to best suit your needs

What Reflexology Medium Do I Use?

I use a reflexology wax and you have the choice of scented or unscented. For my facial products I use a range of cleansers, elixirs, face oils and moisturisers. Full details of products and ingredients are provided before your appointment.
